At 2:00 AM on April 13th we will cheerfully get out of bed

and get ready to go to Disneyland.....again.

We will stay at our usual hotel, go on our favorite rides and

I'll take lots of pictures like I always do.

But, this trip will include one thing that no other

Disney trip of ours has ever had or will ever have again.

Lunch at Club 33

Royal Street, New Orleans Square, Disneyland

Most people don't even know what it is, much less care.

However to any Disney fan, it's about the

coolest thing you can do at Disneyland.

Walt Disney knew that he would need a place to dine

and entertain important guests and associates

and he wanted them near his small apartment

above the Pirates of the Caribbean.

He also realized that many dignitaries would be

visiting the park and a more controlled, secure and elegant

environment would be highly beneficial.

With this in mind, the small club style restaurant

began construction. Sadly, Walt passed away prior

to it's completion and the club had no name.

When the park was opened, there was a select number

of lessee's who were the major sponsors of Disneyland....

33 to be exact.

Membership to Club 33 cost $5000.00 to $17,000.00 a year.

The five course meal is not included in the membership.

Lunch & Dinner are about $100.00 per person.

Currently there is a 14 year waiting list to purchase membership.
