Olive is learning new things everyday, today she learned how to get up into the big chair. Lucy & Ellie had hoped it would take her much longer to accomplish this. Anyway, they had been sleeping together...until I got my camera and wanted to take a few shots of them. That's when they started playing...well, Lucy & Olive started playing. Ellie was just annoyed that they had to play so close to her. She's too sophisticated to play those silly games anyway, but she does like to be the referee. She tells them when their behavior is unacceptable or if they are being too wild. I always leave her in charge when I'm gone.

Note to Olive.

Bees are mean.

They sting.

Then you have to get shots.

Shots hurt.

Her little face is swollen and the Benadryl is kicking in..

The girls...day 7

Olive is exactly half of Lucy & Ellie in every way.

She is very smart and independent...for a 3 month old puppy.

She's got Lucy's personality & playing "style", they both think

they are little lions and are always "hunting" each other

and sometimes Ellie....who they have decided

will play the role of gazelle.

(they even call her Ellie Gazellie)

Olive has Lucy's feet and face too.

She has Ellie's body size, color, coat, long legs & tail.

Olive has no reservations about

speaking her little puppy mind. She gets right

in Lucy & Ellie's face and

barks her shrill little bark because they have a

bone and she wants it...but not her bone...theirs.

Lucy just ignores her for the most part..

she's a very good big sister.

Ellie however can not let anything slip...

she's the responsible one.

Animal Rescue of Fresno

This is the local "no-kill" animal rescue

that saved Ellie & Lucy.

They go in to the local "kill-shelters" like the

Fresno SPCA (where we adopted Olive) and take dogs

that are scheduled to be euthanized, and then

care for them until they find their

"Forever Home"

Their needs are many but right

now they are in need of blankets...

This is what I'm reading now.

MY PICTURES ARE BACK!!

I'm not sure why....it may be because I posted my rant on the Blogger Help Forum for all to see...or maybe not. I had been told by several "help forum contributors" that all was lost...but all was not lost!! About 20 minutes later I got an email from Google with a link to put everything back the way it was.

My disgruntled blogger rant:

THANKS GOOGLE FOR BLOCKING MY PICTURES...OVER 2000 OF THEM FROM 591 POSTS OVER THE LAST TWO & A HALF YEARS! Lesson learned: Don't ever change the main e-mail address on your Google account..because if you do, say goodbye to your blog pictures. I have spent the last 3 days trying to get them back...with no luck. WHY? Because the ASININE policy they have is to block every image if you change the freaking e-mail!!! And...of course they have NO LIVE SUPPORT! Are you kidding me?! Whoever thought up this brilliant "security measure" should be neutered and made to wear the CONE OF SHAME..FOREVER!

Whatever the reason, it's back!
