just a short little walk....IN THE RAIN!

Mr. Lang & MiaOne last shot of the capital
tired feet..

The Capital

Mia on the capital steps..Just a plain old lamp post made of gold.
Nothings to good for our elected servants.

His desk is in the time out corner...in the very back.

This is whose desk I sat at..

Green means raise the taxes now
and
Red means raise the taxes later.
Yellow means I need someone to come and kiss my ass.

Listening to someone talk....without a mic...and that's
why I don't know who it was??
This is whose desk Mia sat at..

California State Assembly

The California Senate Floor...

Something we pay for but will never have...coverage this good.

The California State Assembly Floor

THE BEST!

The safe....look at the date..
First you go to the BILL ROOM and
give them all of your money... they even have private rooms to cry in...

The DRUM is in the basement rotunda...
I don't know what it is because
I didn't have time to even read this sign..

2nd floor rotunda look out.

It was raining so we did not spend too much time outside...

By 6:30 AM we were riding the rails, but some

447

447...that's how many pictures Mia and I took
on yesterdays train trip up to Sacramento.
We woke at 4
left home at 6
left Fresno on a train at 6:30
got on a bus at 9
got to the California State Capital at 10
walked and walked and walked for 4 hours
and then we walked some more.
We visited the Railroad Museum and the
California Gold Rush Museum in Old Town Sacramento.
And to finish it off we ran into a candy store.
Sadly, that is the only spot where we forgot to
take pictures....but just about every other moment
of the day was documented...thoroughly!
More pictures coming soon...lots more!
