Mia told me this morning that she

watched Honey Boo Boo last night.

When my look told her I had no idea what

she was talking about, she said to Google it.

(This is why I don't watch TV)

There is an entire reality show about this family and the

smallest child, who apparently is a beauty pageant star.

I'm stunned that any network would agree to pay

 money to follow these people around, let alone

 aid in the exploitation of the child.

It's disgusting & embarrassing!

 And I doubt the money they are paid

to pimp out their daughter is being saved for

Honey Boo Boos much needed therapy sessions in years to come.

Putting kids this young in these stupid pageants is setting

 them up for a lifetime of self doubt.

We are judged enough as adults, why on earth

do these "parents" do this to their little girls?

They make little or no money, in fact

it's very costly to enter a contest.

They have costumes

(that make a 5 year old look like a seasoned whore)

makeup, hair, wigs, fake teeth,

travel expenses and so on.

It is nothing more than a pathetic & selfish

attempt by the parents to gain attention because

they themselves are so desperately insecure.

It's absolutely vile & they should be ashamed.
