Home repairs are so much fun.

On Valentines Day we noticed there was no hot

water, so cold showers it was. On Monday we

called a appliance repairman, thinking

it was the hot water heater.

Nope, not the water heater.

On Tuesday (our 19th anniversary) we called a plumber

and he said to call the

Leak detection people, who said we were

also going to need a general contractor.

After 7 hours of..jackhammering and 2 big

holes in the foundation in the garage and one in the

laundry room it was determined that

the hot water line is broken in two

places (so far) one of them being

under the cabinets in the laundry room.

Right now the demo guys are

ripping our my laundry room tile, cabinets & sink.

Then tomorrow the water guys will be back to

jackhammer into the foundation ...again..to reach the leaks.
